英国教育技术专家Martin Weller在LAMS European conference做了一个关于“学习与社会媒体”的主题发言。他认为我们现在设计的学习工具太复杂了，应该向web2.0网站学习。

Martin Weller关于构建社会化学习工具和环境的6项原则：

1. “嵌入”为基本原则-应该成为整个设计的中心
2. 简单赢得大众，复杂赢得小众；
3. “分享”是参与的动机-因此需要简化和鼓励；
4. 从简入手，让别人完善；
5. 限制输入（如：Twitter）；
6. 复杂源于网络，而不是应用。
